My name is Dee, l’m a mum of seven children, a grandparent, and have juggled the demands of parenting, studying, and working. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people in the support care sector with a large range of diverse disabilities and challenges, learning that every
journey is unique and deserves to be honoured.
Life in our home was often chaotic, seven children, all with different needs, personalities and rhythms. Some of my children are neurodivergent, some are neurotypical with strong neurodivergent traits, and all have taught me how beautifully complex life can be when you’re trying to make it flow.
